Ear Problems
The ability to hear clearly is important to everyday life. However, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, one in eight people in the U.S. over the age of 12 has hearing loss in both ears. Different types of hearing loss can be caused by many different environmental and genetic factors.
If you or your loved one is experiencing hearing loss or ear-related symptoms, TexomaCare is equipped to help. Our doctors perform hearing tests and screenings for patients of all ages. Hearing aid services for hearing aid fitting and dispensing are also available.

Nose and Sinus Problems
The ability to breathe and smell is often taken for granted until it is lost. While sinus and nasal problems are common, 11.6% of U.S. adults are diagnosed with sinus infections according to the CDC.
Nose and sinus conditions and infections can be caused by other health conditions like asthma, allergies and genetic disorders. For example, 86% of patients with cystic fibrosis present with nasal polyps.
Conversely, nose conditions can cause others. For example, a deviated septum can lead to sinus infections and nosebleeds. In severe cases of deviated septum, ENT surgery is recommended to improve breathing.
Nose and sinus conditions can be disruptive to everyday life. The staff at TexomaCare is ready to help with any of the following conditions:

Throat Problems
Just about everyone has suffered from a sore throat. Throat pain is one of the most common symptoms in illnesses and infections.
Sore throats are often a result of a minor viral infection like a common cold or the flu. Dry air can also cause your throat to feel uncomfortable. In these cases, symptoms often go away on their own.
However, a persistent or recurrent sore throat could be an indication of something more serious. For example, strep throat causes up to 30% of sore throat cases in children according to the National Library of Medicine. In these or more serious cases, medical treatment could be necessary. So, if your pain doesn’t resolve itself or it is extremely difficult to swallow water or food, seek medical attention.
Don’t delay care if you experience symptoms. Our staff is ready to help with any of the following conditions:
- Chronic sore throats
- Difficulty swallowing

Neck Problems
Neck problems and pain can be a result of many different things but neck pain is not a symptom that should be ignored. While neck cancer is not as common as other cancers, head and neck cancers account for nearly 4% of all cancers in the U.S. according to the National Library of medicine.
A common symptom of neck and head cancers can include a lump in the neck or a sore throat that doesn’t resolve on its own. Other indications for cancer are white or red patches on the tongue, pain when swallowing and trouble speaking.
